Jessica Howard and Rebecca Midler team up with the Monadnock Parkinson’s Support Group to teach NH’s first Dancing with Parkinson’s Class in Keene! NO previous DANCE experience necessary!!
Dancing with Parkinson’s will explore movement and music in ways that are stimulating, creative and empowering for each participant. The dance class is structured from the Mark Morris Dance Group’s Dance for PD classes, from whom both instructors received training. The instructors are graduates from Keene State College with their B.A. in Theatre and Dance. Classes are designed for people with Parkinson’s Disease, however are open to all members of the community.
